Black Rock Excavating performed the underground utility portion of a large water main installation project in Georgetown, Tennessee, for Savannah Valley Utility District. Working as Underground Utility Subcontractor to MTC, Black Rock installed 14,000 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron water main, along with 7 fire hydrants and multiple valve clusters, over a four-and-a-half month project running from February 2025 through June 2025.

The Challenge

Working as Underground Utility Subcontractor to MTC, Black Rock Excavating carried out its assigned underground utility scope over the project's four-and-a-half month duration, from February 2025 through June 2025.
